24th Annual Super Bowl Soulful Celebration Media Roundtable Video and ReCap

The highly anticipated Super Bowl Gospel Celebration is back but this time with a new name! The Super Bowl Soulful Celebration: An Evening of Inspiration and Culture, returns leading up to Super Bowl LVII with a live taping on Wednesday, February 8th at 7:30pm est at the Mesa Arts Center in Mesa, Arizona. 

Kish Magazine’s contributing writer, Shamika Minisee was granted access to participate in a media roundtable on Monday, February 6, 2023. Participants include Melanie Few, Willie Moore, Jr., Tye Tribbett,  and former NFL players Cam Newton, Trey Williams, Stephen Pierce, Byran Scott, and Tully Banta-Cain.

The Super Bowl Gospel Celebration is produced by Melanie Few, the only woman and person of color that produces an NFL sanctioned event during Super Bowl week 

The Celebration is the only inspirational concert sanctioned by the National Football League (NFL) and it  brings together Grammy award winning artists, inspirational leaders and special guests to create a magnificent evening celebrating faith and football.

 

Moving and inspiring the crowd with a musical tribute Super Bowl Soulful Celebration highlights NFL players for their faith and generosity. This year’s Super Bowl Soulful celebration will present the Faith in Action Award to Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and Super Bowl LVII hopeful Jalen Hurts. 

 

The Faith in Action Award honors current and former NFL players who make an impact in their communities and in their lives off the field. Jaylen’s service to numerous charities and his native Texas community has helped countless individuals and organizations. Previous recipients of this distinction include Dion Koch Prime Sanders Tim Brown Russell Wilson Tony Dungy and Troy Vincent.

Patti LaBelle, Kierra Sheard, Tye Tribbett, Israel Houghton, and The NFL Players Choir, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary, will headline the 24th Annual “Super Bowl Soulful Celebration: An Evening of Inspiration and Culture. Willie Moore Jr. is the host.
