DOVER, DE, Saturday, August 10, 2019 – On Saturday, August 10, 2019, members of local charity, All Things :13, Inc., took a tour of the new K.I.S.H. Transitional Living Home to learn how their donation has impacted home residents. “With this donation, we were able to help the young ladies with the things that they needed – food, education supplies, personal care products, and household items necessary for independent living,” stated Dr. Kishma George, founder of K.I.S.H. Home, Inc. K.I.S.H. Home, Inc. is a transitional home for young women, ages 18-21, who are homeless or who have aged out of foster care. The program provides mentoring, etiquette training, career readiness, and access to resources that prepare young women to transition into adulthood.
All Things :13 is a charitable organization that creates opportunities for people to give back through fun, interactive, and social events. Its first event was the 2019 Princess Ball, held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 (Dover, DE), for girls ages 3-16. The day began with mini-makeovers and workshops for participants ages 8-16, followed by a royal celebration for more than 30 girls and their families. Thanks to their partners, the inaugural event raised more than $1,000 to benefit K.I.S.H. Home, Inc. All Things :13, Inc. is gearing up for the next celebration in January 2020.
