K.I.S.H. Corner Featuring World-Changer Erica F. Brooks

KISH: Tell us about you..)

EFB: I am a Georgia native, mother of a beautiful charismatic daughter and CEO of I Know My Value who relentless about helping people identify and increase their value spiritually, personally and in the marketplace. I do this by teaching biblical truths and marrying those truths and revelation with practical application to help the masses get to their wealthy place (wholeness).

It is my assignment to impart to the masses, so people from difference races, cultures, genders, socio-economic backgrounds, the popular, the lost, and the underdog and boldly declare and believe – “I Know My Value” because Jesus paid the price. When you know Whose you are, you know who we are. Once your identity is established, no one can commit identity theft and make you feel less who you are called to be.

KISH: What is your dream and how will accomplishing your dream benefit you and others?

EFB: I have over 22 year of finance and business expertise (licensed Financial Consultant) actively pursuing my dreams to help the masses Finish Wealthy. God has given you the ability to get wealth… (Deuteronomy 8:18).” My team and I provide the roadmap by customizing individual financial strategies, hosting marketplace workshops, business masterminds, properly structuring business and offering varied life insurance products. The end benefit is helping the community leave an inheritance to their children’s children.

KISH: Who or what inspired you to pursue this dream?

EFB: My inspiration is personal. I was as single mother of one who acquired nice things early in life with no solid financial counsel. I purchased my first home and dream car at 23, ate out daily, spent tons of money in the salon and gave away money like flyers living the ATL life craving the “image of success.” No one ever told me, “Just because you qualify for something doesn’t mean you can afford it.” No one ever told me that the small things like eating out regularly are the big killers of finances. Wait! Actually, someone did tell me. It was a wise man named Randy who was a licensed Financial Advisor and Vice President of Brokerage at a Fortune 500 Company where I worked in my early twenties. I simply wasn’t coachable.

After the post September 11 economic crisis, went from banking (literally working in mortgage and banking) to bankruptcy. In parallel, I attending a church known for teaching good stewardship. I took my mistakes, financial experience and knowledge to teach other starting with launching and More Than Conquerors Financial Literacy Program

KISH: What challenges have you encountered while pursuing your dream?

EFB:The biggest challenge with helping individuals and families Finish Wealthy has been helping the African American community adopt the importance of life insurance and leveraging life insurance for legacy and inheritance. As an African American who has experienced and seen much unprepared loss, I believe it is important for us to “be ready” versus residing in a state of “getting ready.

KISH: “Who or what inspired you to keep pushing regardless of the challenges you’ve encountered?

EFB: God Himself continues to strengthen me in my assignment. I also have some core sister-friends who believe in me and continually speak life. Dr. Norman E. Hardman who is my bishop and covering in ministry inspires me with his solid life changing teachings, wisdom and spiritual investment in being a tangible shepherd.

KISH: Please provide final thoughts/advice for others by finishing this sentence… dream.

EFB: Know Your Value because you are priceless. Remember that Finishing Wealthy isn’t limited to gaining or increasing financial security. Wealthy is holistic and when you Know Your Value, you embrace self-care (put on your own oxygen mask FIRST), you set and stick to healthy boundaries and maximize your potential. Shine on!
