K.I.S.H Magazine Exclusive Interview w/ Paul & Tiffany Nutall

KISH: Tell us about you…

Paul & Tiffany Nutall are a dynamic duo who are motivated and driven by God to serve humanity through their 2nd Chance Saves Lives TV show. Both are passionate in helping the struggling and less fortunate and have been persistent in achieving their goals despite the hardships they endured in both of their lives.

PAUL K. NUTALL

Paul Nutall was born & raised in San Antonio, Texas. Despite growing up with the struggles of a single mother of 9 children, he successfully became a gang-unit officer for 4 years. During that time he also became a 3-time kick-boxing world champion in 1991 & was the karate instructor of Sean Elliott (NBA Spurs Champions). Paul left San Antonio in 1994 to Michigan after his family wrongfully disowned him, where he then earned two Master degrees for Criminal justice & Political science. With those degrees, he then became the Regional Youth specialist director of over 800+ staff at a facility called Wolverine Human services for 17 years. During that time, Paul trained with pro-boxer, now Hall of Famer, Chris Byrd, as his sparring partner, and contributed to his success in beating Evander Holyfield for the vacant IBF heavyweight championship on December 14, 2002. He also contributed as a sparring partner to Hasim Rahman, where he beat Lennox Lewis for the heavyweight championship of the world in 2001.

Paul’s downfall came in 2007, when he was wrongly convicted of a Nigerian scam in which he served 14 months of his life waiting for his trial. At the time of trial, the judge reviewed his innocence and dropped 2-40 charges. Within the time of him running, incarceration, and Federal probation, he was unable to pay his child support for his several kids (law states that the government must be paid back before child support); this caused him to be picked up again to serve another 6 months shortly after his release from the Federal government.

When trying to reconcile his relationship with his family after 25 years, he found out his mother passed away in April 2017. Three months later, his father passed away whom he was unable to see before his passing as well. Grieving over the loss of both his parents, couples months later his eldest twin daughters died in Hurricane Harvey in Houston.

Later when filming a reality show that a television network was interested in, one of the girls apart of the show named, Ariana Vasquez, whom he dated in the past & let go from the show due to her unbeknownst criminal history, wrote a false “rip-off report” about Paul in a scheme to destroy his character and reputation. The truth came out that her immoral motives derived from being secretly envious of one of the girls apart of the show, whom he ironically married years later.

These series of back-to-back tragedies should have caused him to give up hope, but instead it motivated & strengthened Paul’s faith to continue pushing forward in life to reach his goals. After meeting and teaming up with his wife Tiffany Nutall, they have now created the “2nd Chance Saves Lives” TV show & Forgotten Prisoners as a way to serve his own justice through the lives of others. And to spot-light inspiring individuals, they have created the 2nd Chance Radio TV show for positive entertainment and inspiration.

TIFFANY L. NUTALL

Tiffany Louise Nutall was born in Zamboanga, Philippines and was raised in Los Angeles, California since the age of 3. Years later, she grew to become an ambitious businesswoman, entrepreneur, inventor, and singer. She grew up being a loner, and through this self-discovery, her gifts and talents developed and prospered. She was looked upon as the “black sheep” of the family, due to her unique character traits, mindset, and general misunderstanding of her drive and ambition. Not willing to settle for an average lifestyle, she has taken a departure into the unprecedented, diverging from the normal existence her family had not accepted. With her sights set for greater things, the only option was to further develop herself mentally through constant networking, expanding her knowledge, and surrounding herself with like-minded individuals. While living with her family, Tiffany began to mature into a young adult and by the age of 18, supported herself financially and invested in her own business ventures.

Relentless ambition led her to become the youngest at a prominent financial firm, where she received licensure at the age of 19. Shortly after she moved on from that field, realizing that her heart wanted to help individuals on a different platform. A product of beauty & brains, Tiffany then became a candidate for Miss Philippines-USA beauty pageant (pageant name changed) here in the states. Although she did not win the pageant due to patchy circumstances, her perspective is when one door closes, God has a greater one in store; a larger platform than what she had initially envisioned for herself.

Tiffany strongly believes that the mindset is where true success lies and not by just one’s physical appearance. There was another opportunity waiting, the door she was destined to enter, in which she would share all of her efforts, talents & passions with the world. By transforming her pain into power, at age 22 her hard work, dedication, & passion of bettering the lives of others led her to become the CEO & Co-Founder of the 2nd Chance Saves Lives TV show & years later, Founder of the 2ndChance TV show & Production company with her business partner whom she later married, fellow entrepreneur, Paul Nutall. Their like-mindedness, passion, dedication and love of helping those in-need joined them together on a divine mission to save the world by leading the way to producing their upcoming hit TV show airing on the FOX network (2nd Chance Saves Lives) & other spin-off shows (Forgotten Prisoners & 2nd Chance Radio TV show).

KISH: What is your dream and how will accomplishing your dream benefit you and others?

Paul & Tiffany dream to take their 2nd Chance Saves Lives TV show global to other countries of the world so that they are able to help their own people. They also plan to have their own 2nd Chance TV network to air independent TV shows, documentaries, and movies that were unsuccessful in pitching to other networks.

KISH: Who or what inspired you to pursue this dream?

Paul Nutall was inspired to create 2nd Chance because of the tragic events of his past that he endured throughout his life. In 2014, he went on to help fallen celebrities in Hollywood get their 2nd Chance. After meeting his wife in 2016, she co-founded the idea to change the concept to help the world and not just fallen celebrities and shortly after they produced their first episode for their 2nd Chance Saves Lives TV show.

KISH: What challenges have you encountered while pursuing your dream?

Paul believes that their whole journey from the beginning was a big challenge. They first needed funding for the TV set, production crew, etc. and because they built the organization and produced their shows without any filming/production experience, they learned solely from the mistakes they made and visions that God gave them.

Tiffany’s biggest challenge was handling the pressure of pre-production as a whole in the beginning of their journey because she struggled to find a personal assistant who was able to keep up with the pace. After a personal assistant unexpectedly backed out at the start of the first season of producing their show, Tiffany was left to handle pre-production on her own in a short amount of time: preparing content for the hosts, coordinating with the film crew and guests, handling contracts, plane tickets, catering, scheduling, and so much more. Although that season was one of the toughest challenges she faced, it also brought about many learning opportunities and newfound skills that stretched her abilities in many areas.

KISH: Who or what inspired you to keep pushing regardless of the challenges you’ve encountered?

Paul & Tiffany continue to run their race despite the adversities they face because God has called them for this mission to help save lives through their TV shows. They are continually strengthened and led through their challenges because of their Faith.

KISH: Please provide final thoughts/advice for others by finishing this sentence… dream.

Paul’s best advice, “Never give up your hopes & dreams no matter what obstacles stand in your way. Believe me, I have been there. If you can dream it, you can do it.”

Tiffany’s best advice especially to aspiring and new entrepreneurs is, “EXPECT that there will be naysayers as you pursue your dreams and the first ones will be your friends and maybe even your family members. But remember, they can’t see the dream because only you have the vision!”
