K.I.S.H. Magazine Exclusive Interview with Breyana Wright!

KISH: Tell us about you..
My name is Breyana Wright and I’m a certified wardrobe stylist for entrepreneurs and career professionals. I’ve been professionally styling clients for a little over seven years through my company Styled by Breyana. Although I’m well rounded in a variety of different areas, my passion lies within personal styling and maintaining my clients’ wardrobe and image.

KISH: What is your dream and how will accomplishing your dream benefit you and others?

Breyana: My dream is to create the ultimate virtual style consulting firm where clients can receive premium styling services and the education they need to create a wardrobe and image that helps them excel in their career. Not only does this fulfill my mission to help others and walk in my purpose, but it also allows my clients to get those well-deserved promotions, increase their income, expand their network, and most importantly fall in love with both themselves and their closets again.

KISH: Who or what inspired you to pursue this dream?

Breyana: I must give glory to God. If it wasn’t for Him there would be no Styled by Breyana. Prior to starting my business, I had no desire to pursue entrepreneurship (even though I had already done it in the past unknowingly). What really pushed me into launching Styled by Breyana was God outright telling me to start this business. I was hesitant at first and it took me a while to obey the call, but once I did the rest was history. I can honestly say that it was one of the best decisions that I have ever made.

KISH: What challenges have you encountered while pursuing your dream?

Breyana: I think the biggest challenge that I have encountered so far is fear. In the beginning of my career, I had a lot of fearful moments because I wasn’t used to running a business and I was still new to a lot of things that come with running a business. It wasn’t up until recently that I started to come out of that fearful state. One of the reasons was because my husband got me all the way together (he always speaks life into me) and God also got me together directly and through His word (I had to realize as His child I wasn’t created to be fearful and with Him by my side I have nothing to be afraid of). Fear had me missing out on a lot of opportunities early on, but honestly, I don’t regret it. In fact, I feel like God has replaced all of those missed opportunities with even better ones.

KISH: Who or what inspired you to keep pushing regardless of the challenges you’ve encountered?

Breyana: I would have to say that my husband has been my biggest motivator. He’s the only person (outside of God) that has seen my growth, my breakdowns, my periods of indecisiveness, and everything in between. He’s had a huge influence on the business that you see today and even now he continues to be my biggest cheerleader.

KISH: Please provide final thoughts/advice for others by finishing this sentence… dream.

Breyana: Dream big! As cliché as it may sound it’s extremely important to dream as big as you can. Dreams are what gives our lives purpose and, in some instances, they are our purpose. When I started to fall in love with Styled by Breyana, I naturally kept dreaming bigger and bigger. Honestly, if people were in my head, they probably would have laughed at me because my bank account did not match the dreams at all. However, God heard my dreams and saw my unwavering faith and for that reason I’ve walked in all my dreams. You can too. We serve a big God that has a strong track record of making His children’s dreams come true. All you have to do is keep working, keep dreaming, and never stop believing.
