K.I.S.H. Magazine Exclusive Interview with Chief Griffey!

KISH: Tell us about you..

I am an up and coming songwriter/artist from Louisville, Kentucky. Since the release of my hit single, Grind It On Me, I’ve created a buzz in my local area and have continued to build my fanbase, known as The Vibe Tribe, with more people from around the US and the world starting to catch on.

KISH: What is your dream and how will accomplishing your dream benefit you and others?

Chief Griffey: My dream is to have my music touch millions of people. I plan on accomplishing this dream by working on my craft daily, and ensuring my team and I continue to work behind the scenes on creating a brand that is not only timeless, but also one that is trending and for the people, especially when being introduced to new fans from around the world.

KISH: Who or what inspired you to pursue this dream?

Chief Griffey : I say God has inspired me to pursue this dream. He gives all of us a special gift. Before I wrote one of my first released songs, I had a dream and the message was very clear as to what my path was and what I needed to do with music.

KISH: What challenges have you encountered while pursuing your dream?

Chief Griffey :As a growing artist, I have experienced minor headaches, but no substantial challenges yet. I believe that letting things flow as they should, while following a plan of action has allowed me to enjoy the process more, and I look forward to what’s ahead.

KISH: Who or what inspired you to keep pushing regardless of the challenges you’ve encountered?

Chief Griffey: Knowing that my fans are relying on me to release good music, and seeing their reactions on social media keeps me going. It’s motivating to see how many people tune into my music from around the world.

KISH: Please provide final thoughts/advice for others by finishing this sentence… dream.

Chief Griffey : BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! No matter how many “No’s” you get. That “No” could open up so many more “Yes” opportunities! Just keep going and trust God’s process that he has for you!
