KISH: Tell us about you..

I’m from Winston-Salem NC. I’ve been in sports all my life, played football, basketball, lacrosse, and ran track. I’ve also been in music all my life. Played in the marching band, drumline and concert band. I went to independence community college and came out as the number 1 juco linebacker in the nation. Now I start for TCU at linebacker.

KISH: What is your dream and how will accomplishing your dream benefit you and others?

Jamoi: My dream is to make it to the NFL. Me accomplishing my dream will benefit others because I’m going to give back to the community by starting investing in companies and starting up my own business to show people that it’s more than just sports you can do other things.

KISH: Who or what inspired you to pursue this dream?

Jamoi: My mom inspired me to pursue my dreams.

KISH: What challenges have you encountered while pursuing your dream?

Jamoi: Some challenges I had while pursuing my dream is I had 4 season injuries. I also didn’t have any D1 offers coming out of high school but I went juco and came out with over 20 D1 offers.

KISH: Who or what inspired you to keep pushing regardless of the challenges you’ve encountered?

Jamoi: What inspired me to keep going was my family.

KISH: Please provide final thoughts/advice for others by finishing this sentence… dream.

Jamoi: You can do anything you want, don’t let anybody control your life and never give up. You will make your dreams turn into reality.
