KISH: Tell us about you..
I am Jessica McNeil, born in Georgia and raised all over as a military child. I married my post high school sweetheart at 19 and have been adventurously married for 16 years. We have 3 beautiful teenage daughters. I have served in ministry for 20 years as part of worship & arts, teaching, and pastoring both youth and adults. Since then God prompted me to launch out with J McNeil Light based from Matthew 5:16, which has influences on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Clubhouse. The Saturday Sip, The Pre Sip Devotional, TBH, T.E.A. Talks, and three books were birthed from there. Covid gave me a chance to strengthen my relationship with God and learn what he has planned for my life. Obedience and knowing his voice was the guiding factor in all this coming to pass. All honor and glory to God.
KISH: What is your dream and how will accomplishing your dream benefit you and others?
Jessica: My dream is meet the needs of the body of Christ by teaching, preaching, and impacting lives by bringing the truth of God’s word to the unsaved and those in the marketplace. Leading. In ministry and business for the Kingdom of God. By accomplishing this people will be empowered and equipped to dominate, prosper, and elevate in purpose both naturally and spiritually. Also, creating a business to help connect people with what they need to prosper in ministry and business without competition. It’s called Kingdom Collaboration. It started as a Facebook group and God said more. So building that entity and moving into bringing people with Kingdom principles together to take over for the glory of God is the goal. We will offer counsel, training, resources, and agency as well as strategy for marketing and advertising.
KISH: Who or what inspired you to pursue this dream?
Jessica: My mom raised me to always get an understanding and have a relationship with God. In that pursuit God inspired me through correction. I was going through the motions at a time and God said “stop existing and start living. My Son died for you to have life and life more abundantly.Thrive!” I’ve been pressing forward ever since.
KISH: What challenges have you encountered while pursuing your dream?
Jessica: My biggest challenge in my pursuit has been me and my perfectionist controlling former way of functioning, doubt, and fear. God has always called me out upon the waters and the unknown can be daunting.
KISH: Who or what inspired you to keep pushing regardless of the challenges you’ve encountered?
Jessica: God! God placed many people in my life. They came at different times and reminded me of what he said. Knowing that God said it’s not for me that I must endure and go forward. There are people tied to my obedience. I have been chosen for such a time to blaze a trail for others to come into what God has called them to.
