Precious: What is the biggest lesson you’ve taken from the film?
Karen: “The biggest lesson I’ve learned from the film is to spread love and embrace love. Some people who are fortunate are not happy so you should love people no matter the status. We should embrace and show love and unity. You never know what people are going through.”
Precious: What is your biggest lesson being in this industry?
Dr. Holly Carter:The biggest lesson I’ve learned in this industry is that relationships are important. Relationships are the key to who we are as women and being a leader of people of faith. Relationships matter.
Karen:The biggest lesson I’ve learned in this industry is that it allows for us to embrace our relationships and it’s like a family. I’ve learned that there is a lot of respect in the industry and people are allowing people to have the space and room to use their gifts. Everyone is respecting each other for their gifts and for who they are.”
Precious: What do you hope people take away from the movie?
Karen: “ The storyline is incredible and I believe it’s in alignment to what’s going on in the world. Unfortunately, we have children who are being abused and this is a time where they should be loved on. It’s all about having amazing grace and being forgiven! It’s about bringing family’s back together. The movie sends out a powerful message that you can be forgiven! It’s not about being judgment. I hope the message resonates with others. Today, people are frustrated with the pandemic and having to wear mask and they have a lot going on. It’s time to be forgiven! It’s time to embrace all walks of life.”
Dr. Holly Carter: I hope people leave the movie feeling like no matter where they’ve been and no matter their journey, grace can be extended to you. No matter your past, grace should always be extended. I hope the music they experience leaves them feeling inspired and encouraged.”
