KISH: Tell us about you..
I’m Kristina. I am a 27 year old Mother, Wife, Author, Nurse, CEO,I guess you could say I do it all!
I grew up in Central New York where I always dreamed of becoming a successful business owner. In 2016, I started practicing as a Nurse in Central New York. I would continue practicing for 5 years before realizing my passion for Nursing was burnt out. I started KP Marketing after landing an internship as a social media content creator with the Pretty Women Hustle Network. I would later be promoted to the Executive Director and Director of Marketing for the network. During my internship, I found I had a profound passion for marketing and branding. With the support of my husband, I started my business in November of 2020 with little to no experience and in less than two years, I have built a two time award winning marketing firm!
When I’m not creating innovative brands for my clients, my children, Gianna 5 weeks old and AJ 4.5 years old, keep me busy. I’m Sicilian and love spending time in the kitchen! My children are my world and the reason why I continue to work hard every single day.
KISH:What is your dream and how will accomplishing your dream benefit you and others?
Kristina: My dream is to expand KP Marketing and add to our staffing. You deserve to feel in control of your growth, and confident that your marketing efforts are reaching the right people and supporting your business. Growing your brand’s online presence isn’t hard when you’ve got the right strategies to support you! If I can reach more people, I can grow more brands.
KISH: Who or what inspired you to pursue this dream?
Kristina: My internship with the Pretty Women Hustle Network is where I was inspired to dive into marketing!
KISH: What challenges have you encountered while pursuing your dream?
Kristina: I do not have a formal education in marketing. I don’t have a fancy degree which means I had to work incredibly hard to prove myself in the industry. Everything I know is self taught and I continue to improve my skills everyday.
KISH: Who or what inspired you to keep pushing regardless of the challenges you’ve encountered?
Kristina: My husband! He is always cheering me on in the background-even if I’m flat out failing. He never lets me give up and always has a million reasons why I should keep going.
KISH: Please provide final thoughts/advice for others by finishing this sentence… dream.
Kristina: A lot of people DREAM about success while only some people get up every morning and make it happen. Your dreams only have a chance of coming true if you make them!
