KISH: Tell us about you..
Michelle: I am an Author/Publisher/Owner at ML Cox Media LLC. Penning, The Mommy Readers Collection series of books. I am battling both Sarcoidosis and Breast Cancer. I have created a genre that is unique in the market for Children’s Books. I create nonfiction picture books that are STEM and Business based.
KISH: What is your dream and how will accomplishing your dream benefit you and others?
Michelle: My Dream is to help uplift our communities in literacy. Within this action, these books teach and inspire Children to be their best selves. Fulfilling my goals to help stop reading illiteracy in our communities, while uplifting our children’s life skills in Business and STEM fields. I am working to give away one million eBooks for Children.
KISH: Who or what inspired you to pursue this dream?
Michelle: My battle with Cancer inspired this dream. I desire to perform good works and make a positive impact in the lives of Children.
KISH: What challenges have you encountered while pursuing your dream?
Michelle: At first, I was experiencing the pain from dealing with Breast Cancer surgery. Then I was insecure about my body because I was missing my breast. I didn’t desire to be seen or create videos to get the word out.
KISH: Who or what inspired you to keep pushing regardless of the challenges you’ve encountered?
Michelle: My faith in GOD has helped me continue to push forward, plus my best friend of over 55 years she has always been in my corner. She is so supportive.
KISH: Please provide final thoughts/advice for others by finishing this sentence… dream.
Michelle: I don’t give advice, I have suggestions. Everyone may take what you need and leave the other thoughts I am sharing on the table. In this life, work to give more than you take. Love yourself and take care of you first. This way you may serve in a healthy way. Love life like you are going to die today and dream about tomorrow.
