KISH: Tell us about you..

She is called to share her revelations of biblical principles, life experiences, and insight in hopes that people will be set free from bondages and live a life full of God’s blessings. She is an ordained minister of dance and prophetically sees the impact that ministry as a whole has on God’s people that ultimately changes lives forever. Tara’s vision is to carry this powerful message of hope and transformation all over the world to those in need. Professionally, she is a District Property Manager with DMA Companies. Tara holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Management, a Bachelor in Business Management and is the proud mother of three. She resides in Houston, TX and is a member of Lakewood Church.
KISH: What is your dream and how will accomplishing your dream benefit you and others?
Tara: I have a strong fire on the inside of me to implore others to pursue their purpose and to activate their God-ordained assignments. I want people to discover how to grow intentionally and actively pursue the life God designed specifically for them. People need to know that they are anointed for growth and destined for greatness. I may not be able to reach every single person on this planet, but that one person I encourage or inspire can touch the next person and then that person can touch the next.
KISH: Who or what inspired you to pursue this dream?
Tara: Having a godly vision and understanding that I am called and have been sent out to complete an assignment and encourage others is a huge inspiration to me. The key is to have a vision first. Many do not know what they are called to do. We sit on our gifts and do not move forward. Having vision enables you to pursue your dreams and your purpose passionately.
KISH: What challenges have you encountered while pursuing your dream?
Tara: I have come to a clear understanding that fear and insecurities will attempt to keep us from reaching our full potential. Fear is a dream crusher. There are so many dreams and callings on the inside of each and every one of us that we never pursue because of the fear of failure or what someone else may say or think of us. How others may feel about you is not your business. We must stay focused and get the assignment completed. We have to see ourselves the way our Heavenly Father sees us and complete the tasks He has given us to complete. Pull out and utilize the giftings on the inside of you. Do it even if you are afraid. There is something on the inside of you that someone else needs. My motto is “Get comfortable being uncomfortable because it is the only way you will grow”. I had to step out of my comfort zone even with a fast paced beating heart and decided to just do it! I made a decision to set aside my insecurities and say to myself “God would not have given you this opportunity if He felt you could not handle it, Trust Him!”
KISH: Who or what inspired you to keep pushing regardless of the challenges you’ve encountered?
I realize that our plans and our time tables are different than God’s plans and His timetables. It’s important that we keep moving forward no matter what the circumstances and keep reaching for our dreams. I understand that challenges will come to distract and move us off course, but we must learn to get back up, dust ourselves off and keep treading. When big trials come, that only means you have something big that the world needs. Someone who inspires me to keep pushing despite the challenges is my pastor “Joel Osteen of Lakewood Church in Houston, TX”. He is an amazing encourager and motivator. There have been many times when he could have given up, but God kept him close and moved in his favor. This happened and continues to happen in his life, because Pastor Joel has been called to do exactly what he is doing right now and so much more (to touch lives). When God has called you, no one else can block your blessings or destiny.
KISH: Please provide final thoughts/advice for others by finishing this sentence… dream.
