K.I.S.H. Magazine Exclusive Interview with Trendsetter; Pastor Tamika D. Pharr!

KISH: Tell us about you.

Pastor Tamika:  I am Pastor Tamika D. Pharr, of Restoration Deliverance Outreach Ministry, under the Leadership of Apostle Lester Dale Jr.  I am the mother of two children Jermarko and Shabre Covington, five grandchildren, and a beautiful daughter in love. I am the owner of Bless Ends Salon and Style. I am a very ambitious, outgoing, person.  I have three ministries that are under me. Take off the Mask, Hats and Pearls, and Operation Bag Drop. I love to live, love and laugh. I am a very hard worker and I put God first before all I do. I am a God fearing Woman, that lives true to God’s word.  My favorite scripture is Psalms 91:11

KISH:What is your dream and how will accomplishing your dream benefit you and others?

Pastor Tamika: My dream is to one day own my own School of Cosmetology. Accomplishing my dream will allow me to help other women, and young ladies to start their own business. It will help me, by seeing them being helped by finishing school. My goal is to help as many women and even men as I can.

KISH: Who or what inspired you to pursue this dream

Pastor Tamika: Seeing my children born helps me to pursue my dream, so one day my very own girls and my sons can run the school. Who inspired me was my grandmother Leonis Pruitt, because I watched her press and curl everyone in the neighborhood hair, and I felt it myself when it was my time. She inspired me, and my children helped me to keep on pushing.

KISH: What challenges have you encountered while pursuing your dream?

Pastor Tamika: I have had several challenges along the way far as finances, locations, and finding the square footage I needed, but every challenge made me stronger, made me work harder, and it also built my Faith.

KISH: Who or what inspired you to keep pushing regardless of the challenges you’ve encountered?

Pastor Tamika: God and my children keep me pushing regardless I’d all the challenges.

KISH: Please provide final thoughts/advice for others by finishing this sentence….dream

Pastor Tamika: Dreams do come true. Whatever you have that will build others do it. You know, you never know who you inspire along the way. Dream BIGGGGG!!
