KISH: Tell us about you..
My name is Jocelyn Castor, I’m Haitian American, 34 years old and was born in Miami Florida. I was raised by my single mother in New York and currently reside in Indianapolis Indiana. I’ve been a published model for 6 months now and I’m looking forward to a long successful career in it. I’m a real laid back guy and enjoy laughing, spending time with family, shopping, taking naps, travel, and spending time in front of the camera.
KISH: What is your dream and how will accomplishing your dream benefit you and others?
Jocelyn: My dream is to become a Big time Actor and Model. To accomplish my dream of becoming a big time actor, I will continue to take acting courses, memorize scripts and attend auditions. To accomplish my dream of becoming a big time model, I will continue to work on unique poses with enticing facial expressions.
KISH: Who or what inspired you to pursue this dream?
Jocelyn: Growing up and watching Fresh prince of bel air, Jamie Foxx Show, and various movies with those two actors along with Denzel Washington in movies as a child, gave me the desire to act out a story for people to watch. As a child, my mother, who has passed away in the year 2011, would always take us to the studio to get pictures taken of us. Throughout the years, I fell in love with having pictures taken of me, from selfies, to professional lifestyle pictures.
KISH: What challenges have you encountered while pursuing your dream?
Jocelyn: Getting a job for modeling has been a challenge.
KISH: Who or what inspired you to keep pushing regardless of the challenges you’ve encountered?
Jocelyn: Losing my mother has continued to push me when faced with challenges. Watching her fight for her life and witnessing her taking her last breath has kept me strong and helped me push through tough times.
