Marshall “Tripp” Mabry, III was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia the oldest of 7 children. The call of God upon his life to be a leader in the kingdom of God was apparent from an early age, and at the age of 15 he accepted his call to ministry while being a student at Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta. Bishop Mabry later launched his collegiate career at the prestigious Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. While there he along with 5 other friends started A.G.A.P.E. Ministries-All God’s Anointed People Evangelizing-). A multi-cultural, non-denominational ministry that has encouraged the students of Mercer University to seek after God for a relationship and not religion.
Marshall “Tripp” Mabry, III, is the Senior Pastor of Tremont Temple Baptist Church in Macon, GA. A duly consecrated Bishop, a noted speaker, author of 3 books and church planter. Pastor Mabry has an approach to ministry that has been considered unorthodox because of his mixture of contemporary theology and practical real life sermons.
Through the process of becoming the Word spoken by God over his life, Bishop Mabry served in many capacities within the church before pastoring. Through his submission to and exposition of the Word of God, Marshall Mabry continues to leave an indelible mark on the lives of those who seek the true and living God. His desire for in-depth examination of spiritual truths, combined with effective oratory skills make him a sought after revivalist.
Marshall “Tripp” Mabry is not only a minister of the gospel but also an entrepreneur. He serves as President& CEO of The Mabry Group, a public relations agency that focuses on marketing, consulting and management of persons within the entertainment industry. His educational accomplishments include Mercer University, and Logos University where he is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Leadership/Management. Outside of being a clergyman he is also an educator currently employed with the Bibb County Board of Education in Macon, GA.
Known affectionately as “the bowtie bishop” Bishop Mabry is affiliated with several noted social and civic groups such as the NAACP, 100 Black Men of America and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. In addition, he is the proud husband of Tausha Mabry and through the blending of this union they parent 5 wonderful children Destiny, Marshall IV, Hayden, Hannah and Joi. With a heart to serve and a tenacious spirit, Marshall “Tripp” Mabry’s approach to ministry and life can be summarized in one line “to serve this present age my calling to fulfill!”
