Shirlene Jones

Shirlene Jones is a native Delawarean. She has both an adult son and daughter, five grandsons, and one great granddaughter.

GOD used Shirlene to birth forth an Outreach Ministry (Save Our Sons and Daughters) in 2008; GOD spoke Matthews 6:33 and Luke 10:2 as being pivotal to the move of the spirit. A vision from the HEART of the FATHER to the heart of a mother. The focus is to share the LOVE of JESUS. This ministry has hosted numerous Celebrations for At-risk youth and their families to celebrate
a new school year. Over the last 13 years, S.O.S.A.D. Outreach Ministry has been instrumental in providing more than 750 backpacks with supplies and over 4000 lbs. of food to needy families in and around Kent County, DE.

Shirlene is an Intercessor; she previously prayed and shared the Word of GOD on a Prophetic Empowerment Prayer Call for almost five years. She hosted an Annual Women’s Conference for several years entitled “ARISE.” For the past four years, Shirlene can be found live on Facebook, Tuesday mornings at 7:00 AM EST with “The WORD Empowers”.

Shirlene has been featured in the Delaware State News, KISH Magazine, and New Being Queen Magazine. She has appeared as a guest several times on the Dominion TV Network- “The DREAMER in You Show,” and on Elevation TV- “FIERCE.”

Shirlene has been a part of several anthologies including “Birthing the DREAMER in You”, “Prophecy Stories, Vol. 1”, and “Coat of Many Colors”. Shirlene has recently released her first independent project work “Emerge, Pivot, and Live”.

Shirlene has been a cheerleader for so many other people, she will pray, encourage, and speak life those to those whom she encounters. She stands firmly on the Word of God and her faith in HIM. Shirlene is an active partner at Calvary Church in Dover, an intercessor, motivational speaker,ment or, author, and very passionate about sharing her faith. Shirlene proclaims, “When nothing else would help, it was JESUS’ love that lifted me!!” Shirlene volunteered at a Code Purple Women’s Shelter from 2017 through 2020. Shirlene has an Associate degree in Criminal Justice, and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. She is a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor both in Delaware and nationally, and a Licensed Social Worker. She has a varied background in the Human Services field, having worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor within the Dept. of Corrections, a Wraparound Therapist with youth in Mental Health, and a Substance Evaluator in a Delaware Detention Center. She is currently employed by a Health Insurance company.
