Why did I have to experience this pain? Why did I have to be rejected, betrayed, overlooked, or misunderstood? Why did I have to endure the loss, the sickness, the disappointment, or the struggle? And why, when I was trying to trust God, did life still hurt so much?
Why Me? The Birthing Process of Destiny is a powerful compilation of women who have asked those same questions. Within these pages are real stories of rejection, abandonment, childhood wounds, foster care, grief, devastating loss, sickness, shame, ministry hurt, personal mistakes, and circumstances that could have caused these women to give up. Their stories are different, but they share one powerful truth: God did not waste their pain.
What once looked like rejection became redirection. What felt like breaking became building. What seemed like an ending became the beginning of something greater. These women discovered that sometimes the answer to “Why me?” is not found in understanding everything that happened. Sometimes the answer is discovered in seeing who you became because you survived it.
God can take the places that wounded you and develop compassion. He can take rejection and reveal identity. He can use disappointment to deepen faith, turn survival into testimony, and transform pain into purpose. The very season you thought would destroy you may be the place where destiny is being birthed.
Why Me? does not offer stories of perfect women who lived perfect lives. These are testimonies of women who cried, questioned, struggled, made mistakes, experienced heartbreak, and still discovered the faithfulness of God.
If you have ever wondered why your journey had to be so difficult, this book was written to remind you that your story is not over simply because you are in a painful chapter. There may be purpose developing beneath the pressure. There may be strength being formed through the struggle.
There may be destiny growing in the very place that made you ask, “Why me?”And one day, you may look back at everything you survived and discover that the question has changed.Why me? Why not me? From pain to purpose.
